The Beer Quality: Foam course was truly impressive. Within it, I acquired a substantial amount of knowledge and had the incredible opportunity to learn from a renowned expert in the field. The approach was both profound and didactic, making the learning experience extremely enriching. I can only express my admiration for it. Thank you very much, UC Davis, for offering this course, and Charlie Bamforth, you are an inspiring individual. I've always wanted to study in California, and now I had a chance to get a taste of the experience of gaining such high-quality knowledge. I'd also like to express my gratitude to Coursera for being an amazing and highly accessible platform.

Good course content presented by enthusiastic lecturer Charlie Bamforth; I learned a lot, especially that beer brewing is not an exact science, thanks. May I feed back some thoughts: - The English transcripts need serious amendment (bali instead of barley, form or phone instead of foam, guardians instead of hordeins, pay pain instead of papain, and many more). And by the way, I'd rather prefer proper British English transcripts instead of US English for the sake of authenticity. - There are inconsistencies about the need for the textbook. At the beginning of the course it is said to be optional, later on the reading texts switch to 'required'. Which turns out to be true in the quizzes, which cannot be solved in the first attempt due to material not covered in the lectures (fining agents, filtering, etc.). So we pay for the course and should additionally pay for the textbook? - Quiz feedbacks to 'wrong' answers are not helpful. Quiz 2 of week 2 seems to value falsely. Quiz 2 of week 3 does not fit here as gushing etc. are taught in week 4. - Course admins should respond to questions in the forums.
