For me (sw engineer) that I've never touched those programming languages it seems a really good starting point.

Obviously not enough to be atonomous on developing a web-site, but this is not even the scope of that course.

I really liked how the trainer go step by step on the course.

The course was good! I learned a lot! It would be nice that you mentioned somewhere that you should know developer basics ( or JavaScript more detailed) before you star this course! First three week were very good but after that is was a little bit difficult for me to follow you.

Fairly speaking, this is a great course, the lecturer has pointed out all the important topics regarding css and html, however, contents regarding bootstrap and javascript are all outdated, so only contents of week1 and week2 are still relevant( suitable for beginners on html,css)

Great class to learn HTML/CSS/Javascript. Yaakov has a great teaching style that walks thru the items so that you can understand them easily. Also, having the full, end-to-end project at the end of the class allows you to see all the pieces put into action!

this is one of the best front-end course in Coursera even if it is old it worth. one of the best thing I like from this course is you will learn how to approach a real client and actually he did that and its on module 3 and on the next module he show all the steps of real website

Nice videos that make the course easy to follow. The HTML and CSS are very good starting points to learn about these lenguages. A little more info on JavaScript would be nice though. The instructors are very helpful and are willing to help you if you get stuck in the assignments.

You'd be tempted to think that these are just simple things, nothing spectacular in HTML/CSS/JavaScript world. And yet, you will finish this course amazed of so many possibilities that you never dream of. Sort of "so this was behind of those amazing sites?". Simple and powerful.

Great point for starting Front end but don't forget its just a beginning so you should still look forward and learn JavaScript and react you can go more in depth so you can try new technologies like Three.Js too btw i learned a lot thank you Coursera you are the best thank you

Great and applicable material within 5 weeks. Hands on assignment and home works which help to fully grasp the lecture materials. I loved the field trip which added a realistic problem solving experience and exposed how to deal with a real life project. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!

this course is best course for the front end web developer because this course gives us all fundamental and basic knowledge of web languages which is important to know . the instructor is very good he is explaining everything with good examples and having a lot of knowledge.

This was a great course and I wasn't expecting to learn as much as I did. Prof. Chaikin is one of the most clear and concise teachers I've had the pleasure to have. The quality of the course is awesome and I recommend it to anyone who wants to get a grasp of Web Development.

I really enjoyed this course on HTML/CSS/Javascript. The material was well thought out and organized. Not mentioned in the title but just as important were coverage of git, developer tools in the chrome browser and browser-sync. Every lesson was worth the price of admission

Simply awesome! Covers all the basics. The fundamental concepts are covered thoroughly. Uses simple ways to explain complex topic. This course is great for those how wish to start their career in Web Development. You will get an overall idea regarding how the web functions.

Perfect for those who are not very confident in HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap and JavaScript basics. If you want to cover all basics or you just want to brush up your knowledge this is the course for you. If you already know these languages then you should go for advanced version.

Yaakov is a good instructor. He explains things in simple way make complex things easy. The course modules are good but need to add some more for being updated. As it is related to technology things gonna be update so new modules helps the student learn the latest things.

I am delighted to say that I feel fully accomplished after completing the course. It included everything from core topics to coding real websites. Additionally, the idea of connecting real world requirements to coding and making a field trip in an online course were great.

A very amazing course even to beginners in web development! I learned CSS and Html very clearly and even java script. A littlie more of Java script would have made me confident. but nonetheless the course was great and i enjoyed all the assignments.. Thank You Very Much :)
