This is the best course I have seen in excel fundamentals on any platform. Easy to follow, many practice tests, spreadsheets and useful cheatsheets. Kudos to the instructors and Macquarie University.

Well done. A small thing, though: in the quizzes, the grading could be made more fault-tolerant. Example: an answer such as AND(y,x) instead of AND(x,y) is deemed wrong, which borders on the nasty.

The overall structure of the mooc is very professional with a lot of helpful supplemental content like workbooks and quick-reference sheets. Unfortunately the quizzes and assessments have certain flaws for example a solution could work perfectly fine within an Excel sheet but the assessment question only accepts one answer from a range of possible solutions. If you looking to improve your Excel skills the same provider offers the very well done specialization "Excel Skills for Business Forecasting" of course with a slightly different focus.

This was a great course! Very useful and well explained. However, I have noticed that there were several errors in the exam questions, which need to be corrected to avoid confusing the learners. Also, I found the exam for Week 3 much more difficult than any other exam, and that included the Final course assessment. Q1 in the Week 3 assessment should be reworded, it was very difficult to comprehend what was expected. Overall, it was a nice experience. Thank you

difficulty in trying to run specific results when getting errors on excel meaning either there is a corrupt file being downloaded or something else causing for errors

questions aren't even correct, e.g. final assessment it asks "for the products that DO NOT SELL with a bonus" yet the answer is based on items with the bonus...without bonus the value is 308.77 or 309 with the bonus that's where you get the 41...

The idea of the course is great. Instructors speak clear and provide important information. However, too title examples and too difficult exercises. Often, the instructions in quizzes and assessments are written too complicated and not in a human manner, like it is a task for a machine. And the given task itself not always matches with the content, provided in the lectures.

Easier than their Intermediate and advanced Excel but satisfying. Some of their wrong test problems are inexcusable as they were supposedly corrected. While the videos are well done and have great examples, this course falls short on the feedback. Even though I completed it I don't understand why some of the problems marked incorrect were indeed incorrect.

Was really well done until the last assessment that had some questionable portions about halway through it that seems many have had issues with and mentioned on the message boards which gets no response. Great concept but not sure it is being supported by anyone anymore. Least no one that bothers to help those asking for help on the message boards.

Maybe is because the course is a little bit new, but I found many mistakes in the assignments, I really hope you can fix that. Also I think that some points of the assignments doesn´t contribute to my excel learning, copying and pasting some Formula just to show what is the Excel output is something that i consider unbearable.

The material was okay. I found I had to use other resources to complete the work and find more effective ways to solve the problems and write the functions more efficiently.

It was okay for beginning but would prefer courses with more powerpoint slides in presentation from time to time.

I learned a lot in this course, however, not enough to fully get through all the assessments. Some of the assessment questions were incredibly difficult and seemed to want formulas that were not discussed or not discussed in enough detail to allow me to recall their use.

Videos and structure very good, but the course is let down but a few mistakes in the quizzes and assessments. For some, Excel is a challenge and whilst this course will help many to improve their skills, mistakes/errors that are currently there will frustrate students.

Recommend. Although there are errors on the workbook on week 4 and week5 which hinders you from attempting necessary activities. Hence it is hard to keep the momentum going at later parts of the course. Well structured and executed however not excellent in resources.

This was an amazing course, but I wish it was moderated better. I felt totally alone in this course and was hoping for more opportunities to collaborate with other students and get more support from teachers. Other than that I learned a lot and am very grateful.

Great content! I have learnt a lot of new features that I am sure will be useful for me. The only issue with this course is that the course creators are not reactive at all. Do not expect support from them, also many issues have been reported but never fixed.

I enjoyed this course and gained a lot of value from it. However, the final exam I felt like the source spreadsheet we were working in did not work as it was intended and presented a lot of issues for me being able to complete the assignment.

I'm not sure if it was the way it was presented or how the questions were asked but this was by far the most difficult course i've taken on Course RA. I've taken quite a few but none frustrated me like this one.

I enjoyed the male presenter and the way he laid things out. The lady was harder to understand. Also, there were too many quizzes to be able to actually absorb the material (stop and start).

There are quite a few questions in the test where the answers are right but they're marked wrong or the question doesnt match the answers. other than that its a good course.

The course is fine but, it is just a recap of the few selected points from the previous Specialisiation.
