Jacob Hawkins is a PhD Candidate in the School of Agricultural and Resource Economics at the University of Western Australia. In addition to his recent academic work researching the greenhouse gas implications of China's changing diet, Jacob has over 12 years as an environmental professional, evaluating the agricultural and land use impacts of large infrastructure projects in California, Arizona, and Nevada for state and federal government agencies in the United States.
