Let me give you a few examples of what I mean when I say that certain presentation is informational or motivational. And I will start with an informational presentation, and I think I even brought a good one. It's a report prepared by KPMG, a global auditing and consulting company. It is called Global Audit Committee Survey. And there it is, it starts with an introduction from the authors. And then you have something very important, something that you should have if you are preparing your report. Table of Contents and it is all clickable. So, whoever reads this, can just click and skip to whatever part is interesting to him or her. And the next thing would be conclusions right at the beginning, yes. Four things and then another three things, seven in total, seven key things that you need to read, and you can stop reading right here. If this is all you're interested in, all right, this is it. And then you have the main body of the report. There's this blue chapter, few things there. Orange chapter, a few things there and etcetera. And let me just point you that on top there's this navigation bar and it just follows so I can keep track of where I am and how did I get here and where it is going and when it is going to end. And the final part of the report is Appendix, where you have raw data. And you can take it and build your own nice looking chart if this is what you want. So nice job KPMG. This is how things should be done. Once again, you have introduction in the beginning, you have table of contents and navigation in the main body of the report and you have conclusions, right? Things that these executives can read and then skip the rest. And this is how reports are prepared. Boring probably, if you have to present to a live audience using slides like that. Well, I do not envy you. As far as I am concerned, you are as good as dead, but for the report very nice job. People read it in their own time, at their own pace. This is what you should be doing if you are reporting. They are motivated people, they asked you for it, you are filling this information vacuum. You are doing your job. So nice job there.
