Hello. Through the past lectures we talked about the fact that we do not see the world as it is. But instead, we remember our own edited thought. I emphasized what we reflected on is the copied world that we live in. Recently, we know both neuroscience and psychology are consistent. in the same philosophic perspective, okay. Then I'm going to explain this in a much simpler manner. To explain it more easily, let's talk about the eyes first. Our eyes are like a camera. Camera is actually based on the principles of the eyes. Through the camera lens, the camera photographs the real world on the film, and the pictures are what are printed. Not only with the eyes, but the nose, mouth, ears. and whole body experiences, people take pictures with their minds and store them in their brain. So, now let's try and think of a flower in your mind. Can you see it? this flower is the picture that has been stored in your mind. All the images of your family, you have from childhood until now are also stored as pictures in your mind. Let's say we take a picture of a tree. The picture will come out very accurately. However, can this tree produce a seed And grow again? No matter how good of a camera took this picture, the tree in the picture will not grow right? This is a lifeless false tree which is not real. In my hometown I saw big tree flowers and fruit that was delicious okay. The tree that I saw then formed an image in my retina. It went to my brain, and at the time that's what I identified as a tree. I'm sure you understand what I explained to you. But as time passed, the tree stays the same in my brain. Did the tree grow at all. Did the flower bloom? Is there fruit? Can you eat it? What is inside of me is not the real tree, from that time. But it's a false tree that I kept in my mind from the moment, right. The image I think of is not real. Is it? What's in my brain is just stored data, but we think they are real. Fighting with friends, memory of first love, stress and worries, hardships, they are pictures in my mind. We are trapped in these pictures. We live our lives mistakenly thinking that it's real. At this point, we must clarify something. Is what is inside of me real? Or is what existed at the moment real? And furthermore, unlike what I stored in my mind If friends or family were there at the same moment too, then they stored from a different perspective. Without realising, they think, make decisions and act. So, each other's opinions are different. We just need to admit that our opinions are different. Don't we all think that I'm right and the other person is wrong? Can you admit this, or not? It is difficult, right? This itself is conflict, human relationships and stress. How about now? What I stored in my brain at the moment is false. Also, I am taking pictures of what I am looking at right now. I'm taking pictures of them seeing from the inside. Isn't it true? But what my brain recognizes is different from person to person and what's inside of me is false. Even now, your eyes are being cameras and taking pictures. Here you are taking pictures of the image of Professor Duck-joo Lee on Coursera. It is hard to believe right? So you will know well if you try to remember what you have seen now. Tonight as you go to bed, try to think about my shape. This is your homework. Please make sure to think about this moment in your mind. Or close your eyes for a moment and think about my shape now. You are continuously taking pictures, walking around, since the morning you continuously take pictures. Through the past lectures, you were able to see those what you reflected. Because you took pictures and at those moments, I was taking pictures, and I was inside of those pictures. For example, if the picture is my elementary schoolyard, I was there playing, and I was inside of the picture of the schoolyard. Got it? So like that, the pictures are inside of me and I'm also inside of them. I am still taking pictures now and am inside those pictures. First you must recognize this. Can you recognize it? You can recognize with the head, but what about the mind? Not yet. It is science. The origin of SCI in SCIence is scissors. Cut the things with scissors analyze the things clearly. In the chinese characters, the first letter "kua" means rice and measuring unit. Measuring the rice accurately Is the beginning of science. Choosing clearly between real and false is the science. Can you recognize it with your head? This is very important. We are copying the world like this, and there are emotions inside the pictures, there are minds too. Is that right? How did you feel when you thought about your first love? A smile comes out right? There are emotions there too. Does anger come out? That emotion is there, too. In the past lectures what we talked about the philosophy and the neuroscience approach, you can now connect the dots, right? This is how a mind is developed, and the thoughts are developed. As we take pictures and live in there, from childhood to adulthood everything that is inside of me is false. That is why we feel empty. So people think life is futile. Inside of me is not living, it is dead. Shall we say the mind is dead? So life is incomplete, it does not go the way you want which is stressful and unsatisfying. When we know these issues, we can know what is real. We can know completion. Our course is Self Reflection for Human completions. Also the goal is to become complete we do it to become happy. The goal is let's concentrate on the present. Got it? This week will be the turning point for all of you. Next time, let's think what is the real?
