Now let’s turn to the format of our training. We assume that we have two types of audience. The first group is people who want to enjoy the course, and the other one comprises those who want to get some results. And for both groups we have something to offer. So, for the first group, we call it the amateur league, we offer the most interesting and attractive part of the course, its main part — the videos. These are the materials that you will be watching, they also include exercises and provide some beautiful examples. And every video includes test questions, with these yellow things that will pop up, they are for check-ups. They animate you and give you a certain surge of awareness. "Did I really understand what they mean? Did I listen carefully? " — and thus the material is well-absorbed. It is very nice sometimes to tackle such riddles that pop up on the screen. Sometimes they are comic, sometimes important, sometimes there is a catch, but it will always be fascinating. We also have two types of tasks for you: fun tasks and useful tasks. Fun tasks are very good for those who want to enjoy the course, whereas the useful ones require some working on. By the way, they are marked with an asterisk. That is, if you feel like you don’t really want to bother, that you want to relax and just enjoy the course, its material, as if read a book, you know, find out something useful, the tasks marked with an asterisk can be left for later, although we understand that you are the ones who will do all the tasks, from beginning to end, working them out to the maximum. In any case, there are forums available for communication, where you can ask questions, see other people texting. Sometimes we, coaches, mentors, will be answering your questions, sometimes a support group will be taking part. In general, this is a platform for communication, where you can exchange your ideas. Also, for the professional league focused on the result, we have: first, a good bonus — it is a special appendix, paper version for print. You will have a link, so you can print it out yourself. We call it "notes on paper tissues." There are lines, examples, clues, forms to fill in. Such a notebook will keep you focused, so it’s an obligatory task of the course. Why? Because when a person has discovered something for himself, something coming from within, from the subconsciousness, it doesn’t stay on the surface for long. And that's why it has to be written down, so we will be working with the notebook a lot, selecting wise ideas, as if doing a puzzle from separate pieces, an image of one’s purpose. And to have something to select from, we need to write down our results, our progress. In this case, please use this notebook, our "notes on paper tissues". You will get it in the course, it is intended for that very professional league, for those who are working for the result. Its last page summarizes all our knowledge in a short essay, a self-presentation of your deep self-awareness. You will learn several times how to present yourself to those people who will work with you, or hire you. The main task is very simple. Every time you are invited for cooperation, people don’t know what to expect from you. It would be so great if everyone could say honestly — please motivate me like this, or — I really hate doing this. These are my strengths, and here I will make a mistake for sure, I can do it, of course, but it's like "throwing money to the dogs", so please, spare me. Here are your motives, your common sense, system of values, your talents, all supported by reality. So this is no abstract idea of who you are, what you are. This is your deep understanding of yourself, showing your sincere reflection, and we will turn it into an appendix to your resume. This is a valuable self-presentation that you can show to the partner and say: "Listen. If you want to work with me, here's an instruction of how to exploit me." No doubt that a potential employer would also very much appreciate such a thing. This will be the last page of the “notes on paper tissues." And also in our test version there are check-ups that you are going to pass. At the end you will get a certificate from "Coursera". It is not free-of-charge, but not very expensive, so the check-ups work to your benefit, and you will get a certificate at the end, stating that you have done this course. So, now, please, make a decision whether this is an amateur mode and you are watching it as a stand-up comedy show, trying on images, examples, new knowledge of something interesting, or you want to work for the result. Make a decision, and let’s move on.
