[MUSIC] Welcome to effective business presentation with PowerPoint, the fourth course in this specialization. If you have been with us for the other courses you may remember me, I am Alex Mannella. I'm going to get you started and talk about how this course will run. Then I will be back at the end of the course to wrap things up. In this course we are going to focus on how you present your information to your client, team members and other stake holders. Having effective presentation skills is essential in a business environment. A good presentation allows us to effectively communicate with our clients. In the end, without effective communication skills and presentation skills, we are often left with statistical significance, but not practical significance. In this course we are going to start the first week by giving you a step-by-step process to help you build your presentation and prepare to deliver it. In Week 2, we'll talk about communication styles, we'll look at different elements that will help you communicate effectively with your audience. In Week 3, we're going to dive into PowerPoint, the presentation tool we are using for this course. As with Excel, we are using PowerPoint, because it is widely available. There are other excellent presentation tools. And the concepts you learn in this course, will transfer to those other tools as well. Finally in Week 4, we are going to put it all together and get you ready to deliver a presentation. As with our other courses in this specialization, we'll give you a chance to practice your skills along the way. I hope you enjoyed learning about presentation skills. At the end of the course, I will be back to give you recap of what you've learned and share my perspective. Thanks again for joining us. [MUSIC]
