So, let's talk about who's actually on a production team.
Now, remember your production team will vary depending on whether you're doing
a photographic campaign or you're shooting a video
or a spot or if you're designing a web page.
Right? Each tactic each kind of creative production has its own team.
Right? But the important thing and I think this is the most fascinating part is,
how does each member of the team work to tell the brand story?
In other words, every element of what each of these members of the team does,
is going to help you to tell the story,
is going to help you to tell the concept,
and also create the look and feel of the brand.
Right? So, what we want to look at is how does each member of
the team use the skills and the resources that they have to create this look and feel.
Right? So, what we're going to do is,
we're going to have some interviews with a creative director
from one of the top advertising agencies in New York City.
We've got one of the top fashion and advertising stylists in Spain.
And finally we have an up and coming art director who basically works
on creating the set design and the look and feel, the props et cetera.
which also tell the story.
So, each of them is going to share with us how their job tells the brand story.
And here's the most important thing,
you're going to hear all of them talk about mood boards.
Now, what is a mood board?
A mood board is essentially like a collage of images and
references that you use to show what that look and feel is.
It can be drawn from paintings,
it can be photographs,
it can be screenshots from videos,
it can be sketches. It doesn't matter.
The important thing is, by pulling all of these references together,
each one of these creative people is able to present to the client
their idea of what the look and feel will be based on their area.
In other words if you're a stylist,
your mood board is going to be the clothing and the hair.
If you're an art director the mood board is
going to be related to furniture that you might use,
or it might be the kind of location that you would want to shoot in.
So, each one of them uses the mood board to
present their creative vision for the project.
So, I'm really excited for these interviews.
I hope you enjoy them.
