Great fun way of learning about personal thought processing, attitudes and well-being.

Very helpful course to get me to assess my life and how to make the changes I needed to improve my well-being.

Life-changing course in the most positive of ways. What a wonderful surprise to be able to take this class during this COVID-19 pandemic, with so many challenges right now. It truly helped me commit to focus on what I could do, and what science shows can help, to be a person of improved well-being. Thank you, Dr. Santos!

This course is so good!! I love the teaching of professor Santo. The knowledge in this class is a must have if you want to be happier and get closer to the well-being of life. The Q&A section in each week is so valuable that it answer lots of my questions. It also reflect that yale's student always ask some great questions.

My CEO suggested this course to our team during lock down. We all did it at our own pace and came together and shared on a group email. We are using what we learned and the class provided us with tools we will implement with our guests, members and prospects. We also learned about each other and have bonded and are closer.

I strongly recommend the course. You learn about how gratitude, meditation, savoring work on your brain. You will be surprised by the effects of these behaviors on your emotional well being. You will see facts, statistics, numbers, and explanations about how important is to make an intentional effort to build our happiness.

This course couldn't have come at a better time in my life. I was searching for meaning and striving to be happier. This course has guided me with lessons and strategies which will assist me well into the future. I feel like I could repeat it every ten weeks and it would be just as helpful and valid each time. Amazing course! Easy to follow and gives plenty of time to practice what it preaches. Not all that I learnt here was new to me, but somehow doing it in this structured way and really committing to incorporating these methods into my everyday life made a huge difference. I would definitely recommend this course to everyone.

Amazing and positive course. It gave me a different perspective on happiness and the research done to support everything about and around our happiness. We often take life and people around us for granted and forget how to be and stay happy. I'd be glad to take part in more projects from Yale University and by Dr. Santos.

I learn a lot through this course . Sincely i not good at English and feel a little bit hard to understand this course. But any way i still complete this thanks to the proffessol Laurie Santos. I think happyness is the essensal of the life and everybody deserve to have it. Thanks for your team of Yale and Coursera so much.

I found the course quite enlightening. Laurie Santos was an excellent lecturer. The integration of video lectures, interactive talks with Yale students, and practical exercises brought the concepts to life. The course provided me with the tools to integrate what we learned and make lifestyle changes towards a happier life.

The Course journey was really fabulous. When we have growth and positive mind sets we can do the things. We can shape our environment to get rid of negativity. i am feeling extremely good now as i am doing the things that were very much fascinating to me.

If i put in the honest effort to rewire, and made a concerted effort to alter my daily routine, things changed. This WORKS and has reminded me to take the time to savor life... it is the journey, indeed. This reminds us of the science behind how we travel the journey. Well worth the effort. I loved this course. Laurie was a great online tutor. The course was flexible and fitted into the time I had available and was broken down into manageable sections. A great course for anyone who is interested in finding out how to claim the most out of their life. It can be taken at any stage of learning. For someone who coaches others on how to find joy in their every day lives, it is great to get some scientific knowledge to back up the intrinsic and intuitve areas of my teachings.

Lorrie is an amazing teacher who fully involved herself in the practise of this course as much as us students. I found the information and lectures to be very helpful to understand the way the brain works and why it works in the control of our minds. How and why we have these thoughts, feelings, bad days, depression, etc.

I took this course with my son (a high school sophomore) and found it really valuable. Not just the lectures, student Q&A and assignments but the dialog we had together. The day he hit 'pause' on a lecture to initiate one of those conversations made me realize he was really taking the information he was learning to heart.

The learning format was new to me. I was able to work on my own and the course/assignments were fitting my expectations. I learned new concepts and techniques that I intend to use throughout my life. The material presented in the course is great, true to human wisdom and re-wirement challenges are designed to increase overall well-being with our consent. I find great relief in fact that we've got problems, but the solutions are also with us. We have to act in the right direction which are shown throughout the course.

Life-changing. My happiness scores went up 29% and 41%. Take your time and do NOT rush through this course - really let the contents sink in, and even read the articles mentioend if you can. This was one of if not the best investments of time I made in 2022. I will use the contents I learned here for the rest of my life.
