I couldn't have asked for a better class to be offered during this time. Got to learn a lot about myself and why I think or do certain things without even thinking about it. Thank you for this course!

This is an excellent course and teaches so many ways to enhance everyday wellbeing. The methods, Rewirement challenges, etc. are mostly doable and that is a great thing because it ensures adherence to challenges and tasks. The WOOP method is great. Every single part of the course has been useful and none of it was boring, everything was presented very well.

I enjoyed every minute of the course, because I feel it concentrates the current knowledge on wellbeing in an organized set of lectures with a very charismatic professor and truly appealing topics.

I believe it was a great investment of time in these 10 weeks and I strongly recommend it to my friends, for them to take advantage of all the benefits it brings.

The course renewed a number of things but mainly helped me focus on things that would increase my satisfaction with the things I do. As well as helping me reduce the frustrating gap between unrealistic aspirations on the way to achieve a sense of happiness and what I really have in my life, which is enough to live a life of satisfaction and quality of life.

I truly enjoyed the approach to being mindful of ones own well-being and the well-being of others. As a school psychologist this something that I practice and preach to student and staff and I am happy to see it being taught to others to aid in helping us to be better for ourselves and for others. Happiness makes our World better and we are better for it.

This course was really interesting. It combined videos with active discussion of questions, reading and simple steps to make changes to old way of thinking. It makes you realize there is so much more to being happy. I truly believe the rewirements are something I will continue to incorporate into my daily life to improve my overall happiness and well being.

Laurie was very engaging and I can say that I learned why there are elements in my life that do and don't make me happy and at the same time was able to develop strategies that will assist me going forward. I also learned a number of useful strategies that I can now share with my students - a wonderful activity to complete during this time of the pandemic!

This is a truly fantastic course. Professor Santos is really great and has a lot of empathy. The course videos and other material is also really fantastic. But beyond all that, is the content - so valuable for our daily life. BTW, the ReWi app is also fantastic and very handy to keep track of our activities. Thanks so much Professor Santos, Yale & Coursera.

This course could not have come to me at a better time! So much stress and worry about the current conditions and I didn't have a lot of intentional coping mechanisms. The Science of Well-Being taught me real-world, practical, applicable skills to deal with my stress...and to engineer happiness! I would suggest it to anyone in need of help - and I have!

This was a course that provided great research based strategies about moving towards well-being. As illusive as that concept is the instructor broke down the issues and clarified what matters. This was relevant during the time of the sheltering at home due to COVID19. I am so delighted for having this opportunity to take this course. Thank you so much.

The modules were well planned out, I liked that there were deadlines and reminders for completion of modules too. The material was very interesting, it was good to test happiness and well-being scores before and after the course. Most of all the professor was so articulate, engaging and personable. She made it easy to stay on track - 5 stars from me :)

This was a great course especially to take during quarantine. My only difficulty was waiting in between the weeks for the rewirements as I wanted to move faster due to my boredom at home! But this was a very helpful class, a great way to spend my time and energy, and I have taken away the skill of meditation as a coping mechanism now and in the future.

This is a great course that's mostly self-paced but pushes you to finish in an allotted time. It's needed to learn and try new skills out from week to week. I didn't think my happiness would really change from taking an online course, but if you commit to making an effort, you'll see change and know this is just the starting point for even greater growth.

A little focused at first on 20 y/o college student problems... but push past that. The lessons are universal and can be applied to whatever might be going on in your life right now. HIGHLY RECOMMEND the course. DO the assignments of you want to positively affect your attitude, life and outlook. I am looking into further study as a result of this course.

Really enjoyed the salient research presented along with the ways in which we can use this data to increase our self-awareness and empower us to make more satisfying decisions about life and lifestyle. This really has contributed to renewed habits to manage my own well-being and I am so grateful, particularly given the challenging Age of COVID. Thank you!

I can't say enough about The Science of Well-Being - when the time and mindset are on point, this course is life-changing. Totally unpretentious, non-threatening, easy to understand and just an all around string of "aha!" moments.

You have nothing to lose to take this class and everything to gain - so much more than you think.

Thank you, Professor Santos!

This course makes you realize that the biases that you learned about your happiness are nearly all wrong. you don't get devastated for weeks when you get a bad grade, you recover fast and strong. Also, you learn how to raise your happiness and how you can actually get yourself in check, strengthening your relationships with your peers, friends and family.

Well-being is science,I learned a lot from this course. It can be better by doing something like this course said, and put this theory and skills into practice, we can change our life, even we can't realise the changes, if we don't try, we'll never know it works or not. Keep this belief in the mind and hard, try to have a growth mindset, and just do it.

This is undoubtedly one of the most meaningful, most valuable courses I have ever taken, with or without a live professor, in any subject. This course should be mandated as a pre-requisite course - equivalent to Math, Science, English, or Social Studies -- in all High Schools, K12, Colleges, Universities, AND Corporate Learning systems in the world.
