This course gives you an opportunity to show what you’ve learned in the previous IT Technical Support professional certification courses, as well as helping you solidify abstract knowledge into applied skills you can use. IT Technical Support Capstone leads you through a series of technical support situations that require hands-on work to resolve. You will need to grasp user help requests, troubleshoot, and demonstrate your knowledge, including an understanding of escalation and levels of support, how to use ticketing systems and other tools and systems, knowledge of hardware and software of several types, knowledge of networking fundamentals, security, and cloud computing. You’ll also need to understand effective communication and a customer-service orientation. By the end of the course, you will have a better understanding of how to use technical support skills in everyday settings as a professional.
