Smorgunov, Leonid is the professor and the chair of Political Governance Department. He teachs the courses "Comparative Politics", "Theory of Public Choice", "Comparative Public Policy", "Knowledge management in Public Administration". His books are "Objective Laws and Politics" (1990), "Comparative Politics: Theory and Measurement of Democracy" (1999), "Philosophy and Politics" (2007), "In Search of Governability" (2012). He is author and editor of 9 textbooks, including "Contemporary Comparative Politics" (2002), "Public Policy and Administration. 2 parts" (2006-07), "Network Analysis of Public Policy" (2013), "Political Networks" (2014). Now his research topic is citizens-government collaboration in digital society.
