Joris Zufferey

Bio

Joris Zufferey obtained a Bachelor of Sciences (Ethnology and Biology) from the University of Neuchâtel (Switzerland). In 2009, he completed his Master’s Degree in Development Studies at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva. His research was focused on the sustainability of biofuels production in Brazil.

In February 2011, he joined the Human Ecology Group at the Institute of Environmental Sciences of the University of Geneva. He is participating in the management of a French-speaking platform on sustainable development (is@dd) and in the implementation of innovative teaching activities (flipped classroom) as part of an interdisciplinary course.

Since 2012, he has been involved in the EU-FP7 PHENOTYPE project on the benefits of outdoor natural environments for human health and well-being.
